New Year's Eve Prayer

New Year's Eve Prayer
Here's to transformation and the peeling back of layers. A sometimes beautiful, sometimes
brutal process. She's doing the work, casting off the parts of herself that no longer self.
Morphing into who she is meant to be. I love Jeff Buckley and his New Year’s Eve Prayer
sums it all up rather well. 'You, my love, are rebellion.'
This photograph is a self-portrait that symbolises the concepts of self growth and pain leading to new parts of self. The caterpillar gets pulverised as it's turned into a butterfly, and that's exactly how it can feel. It's a picture of strength and resolve to know thyself above all else.
Printed by a master printer, and one of my personal favourites - this is a very special piece.
you my love are allowed to have time
'you my love are allowed to understand
you my love are allowed to love
woman disobey
little man believe
you my love are a rebellion'
